SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS

En la antigua Unión Soviética, Leo Demidov (Hardy) es un guardia de seguridad y antiguo héroe de guerra que cree fervientemente en Stalin. Pero cuando investiga una serie de asesinatos de niños, el estado lo releva de su cargo y lo aparta de la investigación para preservar la ilusión de una sociedad utópica libre de crimen. Demidov luchará entonces por encontrar la verdad tras estos asesinatos y la auténtica razón por la que el gobierno rehúsa reconocerlos. Por su parte, su esposa (Rapace) es la única que permanece a su lado, aunque quizá ella oculta también sus propios secretos.

In the former Soviet Union , Leo Demidov (Hardy ) is a security guard and former war hero who believes fervently in Stalin. But when he investigates a series of murders of children, the state relieves him from office and away from research to preserve the illusion of a utopian society free of crime. Demidov then struggle to find the truth behind these killings and the real reason why the government refuses to recognize them. Meanwhile , his wife ( Rapace ) is the only one who remains at his side, but perhaps it also hides its own secrets .
